There will be a wine tasting event in the late afternoon of Monday, 09 December (probably between 4:30-6:30pm). Those attending will get to sample 12 of the finest pinot noirs from New Zealand and Burgundy (for comparison).
The event will be run by Andrew Moore (Otago), who has had a wine interest for 25 years or so. Andrew has run many tasting events previously and attracts a loyal and enthusiastic following in both Dunedin and Wellington. He does it for the pleasure of it and doesn't take a profit.
The line-up of wines:
Price:
$55 ($40 student/unwaged)
Format:
The wines will be served blinded, to help us focus on what we are smelling and tasting. About 40mls of each wine will be poured for you to sniff and sip.
Other provisions:
Wine notes will be provided. Mineral water and good bread will also be served.
Please note that there will be a strict limit of 16 people at the event (enrolled on a first-in-first-serve basis). Please e-mail Stuart Brock (Victoria) for details of the event and how to register for it.
